Dr. Kumar received her medical degree from Tirunelveli Medical College in India. She completed an internal medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Kumar has valuable clinical experience in primary and urgent care. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Kumar, along with her IMA colleagues, is involved in the medical sciences program teaching Indiana University medical students on the Bloomington campus. Dr. Kumar recently relocated to Bloomington with her husband and young daughter.

Dr. Kumar specializes in women's health, urgent care, preventative and general medicine.
