Board Certified in Family Medicine
Dr. LaGrange grew up in Holland which is a small town in southern Indiana near Jasper. He went to Southridge High School where he played football and ran track. He then came to Bloomington for undergraduate where he got a B.S. in Biochemistry. After 4 years in Bloomington he moved to Indianapolis to study at Indiana University School of Medicine. He finished medical school in 2005 and joined St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis to complete his family medicine residency.
After finishing residency, Dr. LaGrange was accepted into the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama to complete a sports medicine fellowship. While in Birmingham, he had the opportunity to study under Dr. James Andrews, a renowned orthopedic surgeon for the treatment of shoulder, knee, and elbow problems in elite athletes. He has a special interest in treating elbow and shoulder problems in overhead athletes.
Dr. LaGrange’s hobbies include fishing, hiking, storm chasing, and martial arts. He has a sister that lives in the Bloomington area and his parents still live in Holland. He is hoping to settle into the area and then begin a family. He currently has 1 dog, a chocolate lab/weimaraner mix, which keeps him quite busy.
