James S. Touloukian, MD, FACG

Dr. Touloukian joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1981. He is an Indiana native who did his undergraduate studies and attended medical school at Indiana University. After completing medical school, with honors, he completed an internship and residency at Yale University in internal medicine. He then attended UCLA where he did his fellowship in gastrointestinal diseases before returning to Bloomington to join IMA.Dr. Touloukian is one of four gastroenterologists working with Internal Medicine Associates' multispecialty group practice. Combined with the Bloomington Endoscopy Center's outpatient surgery capabilities, IMA is able to offer comprehensive services in evaluation and treatment of all gastrointestinal illnesses as well as state-of-the-art screening for colorectal cancer.
