Internal Medicine Associates (IMA, Inc.), established in 1972, is the largest multispecialty group in south central Indiana. IMA provides comprehensive, compassionate health care to patients from Bloomington (Monroe County) and surrounding counties. Our specialties include: Cardiology, Critical Care, Endocrinology, Family Practice, Gastroenterology, Hospitalist Program, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology. Ancillary services include: endoscopy center, full-service laboratory, radiology services, pulmonary function laboratory, full-service cardiovascular testing, infusion center, and a physical therapy department.

IMA is located in Bloomington, Indiana where you can enjoy an unmatched quality of life. Indiana University
IMA physicians are eligible to participate in the Indiana University School of Medicine Medical Sciences Program on the Bloomington campus. The Medical Sciences Program provides Introduction to Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology courses for the 56 first-year and second-year medical students in Bloomington. IMA physicians serve as the Medical Directors and Professors of Medicine for the Program.
Hospital
Bloomington Hospital is the largest and most comprehensive hospital serving South Central Indiana with a full continuum of services ranging from cancer care to cardiovascular healthcare to women and children's services. The Hospital is not-for-profit hospital, and has grown to a 355-bed regional medical center serving a patient base of 365,000 people in South Central Indiana.
