JOB TITLE:Precertification Nurse (LPN), Full time

Duties/Responsibilities:

A full-time Precertification Nurse (LPN) position is available in the Vein Center.  This position will be located at Cardiovascular Testing and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of patient care related to scheduling, precertification authorization and direct patient care services in collaboration with providers, office staff and insurance companies.

Qualifications:

LPN must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in the state of Indiana.  Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required. The successful candidate must have the ability to comprehend complex insurance processes or have previous experience with precertification authorization processing; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and be self-directed in prioritizing and coordinating work flow; the ability to work collaboratively with team members, and provide excellent customer service to patients and co-workers.  Computer skills: Experience using electronic health record (EHR) system and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word is required.
