Cardiology at IMA, Inc. provides you quality, state of the art cardiovascular services to help you lead a heart healthy lifestyle. These services include:
- Amiodarone surveillance: Amiodarone is a drug used to correct various rhythm abnormalities of the heart.
- Coumadin Clinic: Coumadin is a drug used as a blood thinner in many cardiovascular diseases. The Clinic monitors and adjusts your medication according to laboratory levels.
- Echocardiography: Echocardiography is an ultrasound picture showing the structure and function of the heart.
- Electrocardiogram EKG: A graphic record of the electric currents generated by the heart.
- Event Recording: An event recorder is worn for a select period of time. A graphic record of the heart's electrical currents are documented when activated by the individual wearing the recorder.
- Holter Monitoring: A holter monitor is worn for select period of time. This provides a graphic current generated by the heart over a 24 hour period.
- Stress Testing: Studies used to measure the heart's performance and limitations taken while the patient is exercising.
- Vascular Studies: Vascular studies are an ultrasound picture showing the structure and function of the various blood vessels in the body.
- 24 hour ambulatory B/P Monitor: A B/P monitoring system, worn for a select period of time, that monitors and records blood pressures.
